Dr. Hamilton attended the University of Oregon Clark Honors College and graduated in 2002 with a bachelors in biochemistry and an Honors College minor. She attended Georgetown University School of Medicine where she accepted the Army Health Professions Scholarship Program and commissioned as an Army Officer.
After deploying to Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne as a flight surgeon, Dr. Hamilton returned to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to complete her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She served as the head of the PM&R Clinic at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC.
Dr. Hamilton is currently serving as the Clinic Chief of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation clinic at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. She has experience in electrodiagnostics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, intervention procedures, pain management and medical acupuncture. She is an avid marathon runner with 60 marathons under her belt and enjoys playing keys in her church band.
